Oliver joined Thesele in 2015 and is an Executive Director responsible for sourcing, executing and managing Thesele portfolio companies. Before joining Thesele, he was a senior deal executive at CapitalWorks Private Equity, CEO of Brait’s Alternative Equity Partners and chief operating officer of Circle Capital Ventures. Oliver is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and he is also a former secretary-general of the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals.
Sello has a wealth of business experience gained over more than 28 years in financial services, investment management and employee benefits. He is the Executive Chairman and co-founder of Thesele Group, a diversified investment holding company. He is the independent non-executive chairman of JSE listed company Telkom and independent non-executive director and Chairman-designate of ABSA with effect from 1 December 2021. He also currently serves as non-executive director on the boards of Prudential Investment Managers and DG Capital.
He was previously Chair of the Alexander Forbes Group (executive), Sibanye-Stillwater and General Reinsurance Africa, and was CEO of Old Mutual Asset Managers.
Sello is a trustee of the UCT Foundation and the Nelson Mandela Foundation where he chairs the Investment Committee.
Nonhlanhla joined the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa in 2016 as a senior investigator and subsequently a Manager in the Tariff Investigations Division. Nonhlanhla has played a fundamental role in the administration of various incentive programmes particularly the Automotive Production Development Programme at ITAC and Black Business Supplier Development Programme under the Department of Trade Industry and Competition.
She currently manages Policy Strategy and Research at the Port Regulator of South Africa which is responsible for the economic regulation of the South African ports system.

Hubert acquired a minority interest in DG Capital in 2015 and served as the Company’s Chairman between 2015 and 2018.
Hubert was an executive director at the Sanlam Limited and held the role of Chief Executive: Personal Finance. Prior to that Hubert was the Chief Executive Officer of Imperial Holdings Limited.
Hubert serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Nedbank Limited and Woolworths Holdings Limited.
